Using A Debit Card For Car Rental

December 28th, 2008

Now that im dumping all my credit cards,i spoke to my friend about this and he told me that recently he tried to rent a car with a debit card and they would not rent him one, which i never heard of before, reason being i live in new york city and i only take the subway,so i searched to see what options i have since this would be a minor inconvenience,i found this post and this article which explains there is ways to rent a car with a debit card, and trust me as the economy gets worse these car companies will accept debit cars more and more…as the economy crashes companies will get more desperate for your business.

I am not paying them anymore

December 25th, 2008

I am not paying the credit cards that are maxed out,why should i pay in this enviroment of financial crisis?,You should not pay either they will be getting bailed out by the government, all the credit card companies are becoming banks to take part in TARP so why should we still suffer as debt slaves when they will be getting our tax money to pay off bad debts,so this is the plan i wont pay any credit card bills that are passed due and any cards that are maxed out, there is one card which i am keeping till its maxed out,its a department store credit card thats why its not maxed out yet,do not feel sorry for the credit card companies and even the mortgage companies, its not their money anyway they get a wire from the federal reserve which creates money out of thin air. as ron paul explains,Ok so your worried about your credit rating??? LOL by the time that you will even have the chance to get a loan again will be in over 7 years anyway so guess what??? it will be clear by then anyway.

Spoke To GreenPath Debt Solutions

December 19th, 2008

Finally had the chance to speak to greenpath debt solutions for debt management,i spoke to a very nice lady from the midwest, she explained to me what they do,how they can help me etc…i was actually very impressed with how nice she was to me,they are non profit but they make some money on fees and the credit card companies support they as well,so after telling her how much i make, expenses and expectations, the conclusion was kinda dissapointing though because it seems what debt management will do is lower the apr,no more late fees and stop the collection calls till you pay off the debt, but the payment monthly would be like the same thing if i kept paying ” a little more than the minimum” its fine if you want to pay off the debt it will actually take a couple of years to accomplish this, but if you are in a hole like i am i would rather not pay anything at this point if i cant afford even my daily living expenses, well the lady from greenpath debt solutions actually told me my income right now will not be enough to get on the program because i will not have enough money to live,so she will check in on me in a few weeks,i do have another plan that will be in my next post.

SST Visa Credit Card Pulled

December 3rd, 2008

Started out the last month of the year 2008 trying to use my old sst visa credit card which i had paid off completely 2 years ago and was sitting in my wallet, and since i have no other credit with my other credit cards,i wanted to use it,but to my surprise it was not working, called them up since my account was still active on their website i thought maybe i didnt activate it,but they decided to pull my credit line before i can use it,lol i was actually happy about it,it feels so good to get rid of another debt master,so they said i would have to reapply im not falling back into being their debt slave i know its a trap but the credit card companies will not give any more credit anyway anymore look this story that will be the final nail in the coffin i keep seeing people shopping for food with credit cards what happens when there is no more credit???

Debt management

December 1st, 2008

So i took the step to actually call up one of my credit cards last week, like i said im an honest guy i would love to pay my debts and get on with my life and never use a credit card again….but recently since it hit me that im a debt slave im starting to see the light, whats the worst that can happen? ok im late on the payments, how many other americans are late right now??? the whole country is messed up plus im jealous and pissed off that the big banks are getting bailed out,and we as taxpayers cant!!!,anyway i call up HSBC credit card which used to be household bank credit card, told them well i cant pay i have been paying my card forever but cant right now, economy stinks,i was surprised they were actually nice to me on the phone,im telling you i was very surprised here i am thinking its the end of the world and im probably number 10000 that called today to tell them i had no money,so she tells me to call a number for debt management i have never heard of this before, basically you join a program, they close down all your credit card accounts the late payments stop and you should get charged less interest every month till you pay off the debt in a couple of years or so,so debt management will take care of the payments you have to pay them every month,im thinking this is not bad will call tommorow and find out about this.

Debt is slavery,im a debt slave

November 28th, 2008

I just launched this blog under one of the domains that i have purchased while back,www.jubilated.com ,here is the definition of jubilated,i originally was planning on something else for this domain name, but i thought it would work well for a website about getting rid of debt, after we get rid of debt we will be jubilated too,im dealing with this right now,so i thought it  would be cool to keep a journal about my efforts for other people to find useful,it was about a month ago when the bank bailouts starting happening that i realized that i have been a debt slave to the credit card companies, why does a huge company get bailed out by the government but we have to continue to suffer with debt, especially credit card bills, see for years i have been paying on time and over the minimum payment,i have basically paid off the debt owed but the finance charges have made it where the debt never gets paid off,so its a catch 22.The economy is really bad right now,i work a sales job and nobody is buying right now which means im not making money,so i dont even have the minimum payment to pay one large card that i have been a debt slave to for many years, maybe this is a good thing because i realized the debt will never be paid off this way, seems i am the perfect client for the credit card companies,i pay a little more than the minimum every month, which i think i have paid the original debt anyway,so the rest is just gravy for the credit card companies, they do not give me anymore credit or have i even bothered to apply for any new cards lately because they will not issue any with the credit crunch,so what happens now do i continue paying them ? no i have something else in mind, the biggest tactit that i figured out,the credit card companies use fear of reporting non or late payments to the credit reporting agencies and this keeps people in line to keep paying the bills, there is also fear of judgments, and fear of lawsuits as well, seems most of the people are really nice people and are working hard but get take advantage of from the credit card companies.
